KNOXVILLE,TENN.,May.6-Lieut.B.Carroll Resse,of Johnson county,an overseas soldier,has announced to his friends that he will be a candidate for congress in the First district,opposing Sam H.Sells,the incumbent,in the August primary. Judge Grant Trent,of Rogersville,who had announced several weeks ago,has withdrawn from the race.It is said that Lieut.
